Grading Policy

The work ethics of the students are directly reflected in the grading policy. In addition to test grades, all students are assessed on their sense of responsibility which includes bringing  completed homework on a timely basis (as requested by the teacher) and regular class participation.  The following percentage breakdown applies to students of Spanish 3 and Spanish 4.

• 40% for all tests and compositions

• 20% for all quizzes

• 20% for homework

• 20% for class participation

It is imperative to understand that the level  of success of the student when taking tests is directly related to proper completion of homework. Furthermore, lack of homework impedes the student from intelligently participating during class. All of these contribute to the student's grades.

All students are expected to maintain an uncompromised level of academic integrity.
